• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass or plant flowers and foliage.



• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing debris, trimming and edging around flower beds, walks and walls.



• Mix , spray or spread fertilizer onto grass, shrubs and trees, using hand or automatic sprayer/spreaders.



• Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edgers.



• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flower plants, grass, ground covers, trees and shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.



• Decorate gardens with stones and plants, as assigned by designer.



• Haul or spread topsoil.



• Shovel snow/ice from walks, driveways, parking lots and spread salt in needed areas.



• Properly maintain, repair and store landscaping tools.



• Assist and particpate in public eduational outreach education.

Job Title:                                Front Services Agent

General Definition:               Responsible for multiple aspects of hotel front services including but not limited to:  processing guest reservations, registrations, payments, and departures, answering the switchboard, providing valet services, providing luggage  assistance, salesmanship of the property and offered amenities, and ensuring our guests have a winning experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide guests with information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and answering general questions to meet the needs of our guest.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

• Front Desk Area Functions:
• Process guest reservations, registrations, payments, departures, and answering the switchboard ensuring our guests have a winning experience.
• Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees by selling the value of the Artesian Hotel-Casino-Spa to all inquiries (via telephone and in person) and strives to convert them into reservations and occupied rooms.
• Balances all cash, check, and credit card transactions for shift ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Maintain and organize work area and clean lobby and Front Desk area daily.
• Provide the housekeeping supervisors with the list of guests that are checking out ensuring vacated rooms are serviced.
• Create Player’s Club Cards entering customer data into computer system capturing information such as Name, Address, Telephone Number, and Gender in order to track game play for gifts, promotional participation, and to increase membership
• Inform customers of our promotions, card benefits, and corporate account group offers while providing excellent customer service. Explain point reward system and the different award levels and gifts available based on their usage
• Must possess excellent communication skills, be energetic, flexible, a team player, and be dedicated to providing a consistently high level of customer service.

• Bellman / Valet Desk Functions:
• Provide valet services and luggage assistance to guests upon arrival.
• Greet guests checking in to the hotel in the Valet area by opening car door and offering to take their keys and assist with luggage.
• Receive vehicle from guest and complete valet retrieval slip, to be given to the customer and maintained for retrieval purpose in the Valet desk area.
• Complete a walk around of the vehicle and finish valet checklist; checking for damage prior to parking the vehicle.
• Park vehicle in appropriate area and escort car keys and retrieval slip to Valet desk area.  Keys are placed in slot, as printed on the retrieval ticket.
• Assist guests checking out of the hotel with luggage assistance.  Retrieve vehicle taking customer’s retrieval ticket to Valet desk area to obtain keys. Identify car and drive car to Valet area and open the door for patron. 
• Daily bag pulls, luggage pick up and drop off, guest pick up and drop off
• Ensure all luggage is correctly labeled and stored

·         Be able to supply the guest with all information that they need to be able to enjoy their stay

• Assist housekeeping staff with common area cleaning and laundry, Clean and maintain lobby, entrance doors and bell trolleys including snow

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

   High school diploma or GED equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:     

• Must be able to read, understand, apply and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies.
• Must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different types of personalities.

• Must be able to use basic math skills, computer, and telephone.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to operate an automatic and manual transmission vehicle.
• Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds.

• Must be able to stand, sit, run, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age in order to operate tribal vehicles. 
• Must follow work schedule; Days and hours may be subject to change as determined by management.
• Must be able to work in environments not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Training and Experience:   

• Customer service experience (preferred)

• Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation Office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.
